Online Conference "Antibiotic Resistance: Multi-Innovative Solutions When Standard Approaches No Longer Work" (July 7)

On July 7, 2026 at 12:00, we invite you to participate in an online conference dedicated to one of the most pressing problems of modern medicine - antibiotic resistance and the search for effective solutions in the treatment of infections caused by ESKAPE pathogens.
Despite the regular updating of the evidence base, new recommendations and treatment protocols, the resistance of microorganisms continues to grow, especially ESCAPE pathogens. This significantly complicates the choice of antibacterial therapy and requires doctors to constantly update their knowledge on the mechanisms of overcoming resistance and the rational use of antibiotics. During the conference, leading Ukrainian experts will present modern international guidelines, clinical cases and practical approaches to the management of patients with severe infections when standard treatment regimens lose their effectiveness.
The event will discuss the following issues:
- treatment of infections caused by Acinetobacter baumannii and other gram-negative pathogens
- features of the use of modern antibacterial drugs
- the role of infection control departments in containing resistance
- problems of carbapenem resistance
- possibilities of adapting international experience to Ukrainian clinical practice
- personalization of anticoagulant therapy in complex comorbid patients
- individualized approach to infusion therapy for sepsis
❗Special attention will be paid to the practical aspects of the use of piperacillin/tazobactam, modern approaches to the use of moxifloxacin, personalization of therapy in complex comorbid patients, as well as recommendations of leading international professional societies ESCMID, IDSA, BSAC and BIA.
Anesthesiologists, intensive care physicians, surgeons, traumatologists, obstetricians-gynecologists, therapists, clinical pharmacologists, infection control specialists and all specialists involved in the treatment of patients with severe infectious diseases are invited to participate.
Participants will have the opportunity to gain up-to-date knowledge that will help optimize antibacterial therapy, increase the effectiveness of treatment and implement modern strategies to combat antibiotic resistance in everyday clinical practice.
